EVE: Nature Vraie has been a pet project of mine since before Warp Drive Active was conceived. In actuality, Warp Drive Active came about as a result of graphics work originally intended for ENV. This kind of thing though, well it takes time to formulate an approach. I think I've got it figured.

The concept of ENV is that of an illustrated fan fiction, set in the EVE Online universe. Players may notice that I take certain liberties throughout the story that may break from traditional EVE concepts. This is done intentionally when necessary for the purpose of storytelling, but my mantra from the start was to adhere as close to the game's universe as possible.

What's the story of ENV? I honestly don't want to spoil a single thing. I can say that it will be a very personal story, yet epic in scale. How long will it go on for? That's a good question, one which I do not have an answer for. I have not set a defined number of chapters, and there are many places I want to take the story, but the path that gets me there is not set in stone. One more important note on the frequency of updates. Obviously this kind of thing takes a lot more effort to complete each part than, say, a comic. So it's doubtful that you'll see new chapters appear daily. More likely I'll be trying for a weekly schedule, life permitting.

If anyone has any questions or comments, please send an evemail to me in-game (winterblink). I don't intend to create a WDA-style comment-o-tron feedback system here, but I will most likely create a special section with user comments in the future.

Some artwork and graphics are from the EVE Online website, and are of course ©CCP even though I might have taken some artistic license with the images themselves. I've designed this site according to XHTML and CSS standards. If your browser isn't showing things right, consider upgrading to one that adheres more closely to those standards.

I hope everyone enjoys ENV as much as enjoy creating it.
